📋How to Activate Amiibo

Access the amiibo Menu
From the main menu of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, scroll down to the bottom and select the "amiibo" option (next to the Nintendo eShop icon).

Scan Your Amiibo
When the "amiibo" screen opens, place your amiibo figure on the NFC touchpoint (right Joy-Con thumbstick or Pro Controller center).

Unlock & Equip
If the amiibo is compatible, you will immediately receive a themed racing suit for your Mii. Access it from the character select screen when choosing a Mii character.
💡Pro Tips
- →Any amiibo from a supported franchise unlocks that franchise's suit
- →Mii suits are unlocked permanently after one scan - no daily limit
- →You must select a Mii character to wear the racing suits
- →Booster Course Pass added new suits like Daisy (requires Daisy amiibo)
