The protagonist of Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion is a young Octarian Octoling known as Agent 8. Octolings tend to be more serious than the carefree Inklings we know. Naturally skilled with their hands and adept at using tools and machinery, they're formidable in battle. Like Inklings, they can transform—but into octopuses rather than squids.
